Mi ikigai and Whistle bring to you, our first ever 2 day workshop.
On Day 1,
We will be making our promise to ourselves
We will explore our vision for the year ahead. Understand in depth what we want the year 2021 to bring into our lives. And then take that vision, create an intention for the year ahead.
We will identify a single word, that best describes all that we want to bring into our lives in 2021 ( And this is the fun part – as we will create something really special with this word on day 2)
We will identify ways to bring this word into the different parts of our lives in 2021. And even write out our own affirmations, that are filled with the right words, and messaging that we need to hear regularly, in order to help us stay committed.
We will make a promise to ourselves, to take the year ahead, with whatever it brings to us and make it the year we want and intend it to be.
On Day 2,
We will create, as we cultivate our thoughts towards our intentions. We will use our hands to capture our intention in the form of a simple-to-make, but highly effective vignette, that will act as a reminder for us to stay committed to our intention through the course of the year. This vignette is super easy to create , and has been designed to be easily crafted through a guided work along session for both crafters and non-crafters.
Our vignette includes:
A handcrafted Paper Lily by you.
(All the material that you will need will be provided in a kit)
Why a Lily? It signifies Purity, Fertility and Rebirth, all of which we thought is a beautiful depiction of what a new year should be.Our vignette will also include the word we have chosen. It will act as a daily reminder of what the year is meant to signify. And lastly, a string of lights to bring in magic and light up your path ahead. Lets make a promise to ourselves to make the year ahead count.
